Tamil meaning:
உடலுக்கு ஒத்துவரக்கூடிய உணவைக்கூட அதிகமாகும்போது மறுத்து அளவுடன் உண்டால், உயிர் வாழ்வதற்குத் தொல்லை எதுவுமில்லை.

English meaning:
There will be no disaster to one’s life if one eats with moderation, food that is not disagreeable.

“உணவே மருந்து , மருந்தே உணவு”

Let’s make a difference by avoiding junk foods to our daily menu this week, instead let’s start adding healthy nutritious diet in this first week of September.

A Brief About National Nutrition Week:

In India, the history of National Nutrition Week dates back to 1982 when the government launched a campaign in 1982 to educate individuals about the importance of nutrition and urged them to maintain a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Thus the National Nutrition Week is observed every year from September 1 to September 7. The week is observed to make people understand the importance of nutritional and adaptive eating habits so that they can maintain a healthy lifestyle.
